Social media sensation Uorfi Javed leaves no stone unturned to attract controversy, and this time she has taken her fashion to the next level. On Friday, Uorfi attended a fashion event wearing a metallic-shaded breastplate, paired with a half-draped saree.
This outfit can be called Uorfi’s boldest yet, and she pulled it off like a pro. However, she faced backlash for such a daring act on social media. One user wrote, “Bhayy, tum logo ke pichwade dikhao, hum khushi khushi guess kar lenge… lekin Uorfi ke bawaseer costume nahi dekh sakte.” [Translation: “Brother, show us your butts, we’ll happily guess… but we can’t see Uorfi’s hemorrhoid costume.”] Another user wrote, “She wants attention and she will do anything.” “So you’re allergic to clothes and get rashes if you wear full clothes, but you ain’t allergic to all the shitty fabric and other materials you use to make your outfits…,” one user commented.
When asked about the inspiration behind the outfit, Uorfi mentioned seeing American rapper Cardi B wearing a breastplate in one of her videos. “I’ve always wanted to make a breastplate, and finally, after so many attempts, we have it,” she said.
Uorfi is known for her bold outfits, which have garnered criticism on social media, but she has also received appreciation from many.
