Sherlyn Chopra was spotted outside Amboli Police Station in Mumbai where she spoke about her case against Rakhi Sawant and her lawyer Faluguni Bhahmbhatt. Giving some details of the ongoing case, Sherlyn said, “On 3 November 2022, Rakhi Sawant stood in front of her gym and showed my intimate pictures and videos to the media. On 5 November 2022, Rakhi Sawant’s lawyer Falguni Bhahmbhatt showed my intimate photos and videos to the media in front of Oshiwara Police Station. Therefore, both of them were booked under 67A of the IT Act.”
Sherlyn, who had filed a complaint against Rakhi and her lawyer months ago, visited the police station to get an update on the case. She said, “Today I came here to meet Senior Inspector Shinde Sir and asked if he has filed a chargesheet regarding the FIR. He said that the chargesheet will be filed very soon. He also said that advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt has been sent a notice of Article 41A CRPC. This notice is given before making the arrest. Let me tell you that advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt doesn’t have the bail. This means she could be arrested any minute now.”
Sherlyn also said, “Let me also tell you that on the 7th of August, I met her at the Bar Council. I had filed a complaint of criminal misdemeanor against her at the Bar Council. No lawyer can act against the law or constitution. But she did it. When we met, she told me that she regrets what she did. She asked me to forgive her. We met the respected officer of the Bar Council. Advocate Faluguni said in front of the officer that she was ashamed of what she did and said that she wanted to apologize. The respected officer asked me what I wanted. I said that I would like to follow the legal course to be taken on Faluguni’s misconduct.”
“Falguni attacked my honor in public. If she apologizes to me in the same manner, I would think about forgiving her,” she added.
Recently, Sherlyn Chopra came out in support of Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan Durrani. Adil was behind bars after Rakhi accused him of fraud and harassment in February. Adil is currently out on bail.
