Indian Idol 14 has kept the audience engaged with the fabulous performances of young contestants. Indian Idol recently dropped a promo for this weekend’s episode. This promo has caught the attention of everyone. Famous Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor is seen as a guest judge at the show.
A contestant from Kolkata, Mahima Bhattacharjee dedicated a special performance to the whole and sole of Bollywood’s Kapoor family. She dressed up in a character of Raj Kapoor’s Raju Joker from ‘Mera Naam Joker’ Film. She sang the song ‘Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan’ with some movements. She perfectly put an emotional appeal to her performance with handling the quality of her song.
During her entire performance, actress Karisma Kapoor was getting very emotional. She tried to control her tears but at the end she started sobbing. The reason behind Karisma getting emotional and crying is the legendary actor Raj Kapoor is grandfather of Karisma Kapoor. After Mahima’s performance Karisma talked about how she was feeling and the actress said, “Ye gaane ke jo shabd hain is what we are. Jo bhi hum hain aaj is thanks to this great man.” (The lyrics of this song is what we are. Whatever we are today is because of this great man.)
Karisma was emotional and overwhelmed at the same time. Mahima’s performance created a different sensitive aura on the stage of Indian Idol that even judges couldn’t control themselves. Judge Shreya Ghoshal’s eyes got teary. Now everyone is excited to watch Mahima’s special performance of Indian Idol 14 and eagerly awaiting for the episode to get released.
