We all are aware of Kapil Sharma’s comedic timing and wit, in most loved show, The Kapil Sharma Show, gave a clue as to where he got that talent from. In the episode, Kapil’s mother, who is seen on the sets of the show, made actor Akshay Kumar laugh with her jokes and banter. In a video recently uploaded by Kapil to his Instagram account, his mother can be seen making Akshay Kumar and Sonam Bajwa laugh out loud.

On Friday, Kapil Sharma released a video from his show with guests Akshay Kumar and Sonam Bajwa. But despite the presence of the two stars and Kapil herself, it was Kapil’s mother Janak Rani who stole the show with her sense of humor.

In the video, Kapil’s mother told an anecdote about how her husband and Kapil’s father took her to see a film for the first time. Janak Rani recalled seeing Mai Tulsi Tere Angan Ki and said, “Mereko darr lagta tha ki andhere mai mujhe leke jaa rahe hai kahin mujhe dhakka deke maar naa den (I thought he could push me and kill me when he took me out of the darkness).”
Janak Rani and Akshay then interact in Punjabi and she reveals why she used to be angry with her son. When asked by Akshay if she used to ask her son to make people laugh, she said, “Yeh bilkul Shaitan nahi tha (He wasn’t bad at all)” but then went on to reveal all of his antics.

Kapil shared the video with the caption. Reacting to the video, one fan wrote, “He got his humor from his mom.” Another tagged Kapil, writing, “Aapki Mummy Agar Show chalaye toh TRP record tod degi (when your mom runs the show she will TRP records break).”
