Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana recently announced her breakup with her long-term boyfriend Asim Riaz stating “regional differences and beliefs” as the reason behind their breakup. Soon after the announcement the actress became a target of the trolls and criticism for citing “regional beliefs” as the reason for their break up.
However, following her announcement a segment of netizens slammed Himanshi for breaking up with Asim due to their regional beliefs. Reacting to the netizens’ criticism and trolls Himanshi Khurrana shared the screenshots of her chat with Asim Riaz, in which the two discussed the reason for their break up.
She also shared a final statement and wrote, “This is my last and final statement to clarify that I am secular person so I am not disrespecting any religion…I just chose mine. If I don’t wanna anyone of you to blame him (Asim) for breakup then I also want no one of you to blabber against me…From my past relationship I was quiet for reason I took whole blame here I tried the same but I am sorry people took it other way.”
After sharing the screenshots of her chat with Asim Riaz, Himanshi Khurana then deleted her Twitter/X account.

For the unversed, the two met each other in the reality television show, Bigg Boss 13. The show also marked the beginning of their relationship. Back in the time, Himanshi was already engaged but decided to break her engagement to start her relationship with Asim.
