Recently many rumors and reports surfaced on the internet claiming that Ekta Kapoor has approached Ankita Lokhande for her famous television series, Naagin. The reports claimed that Naagin 7 will star Ankita Lokhande in the lead role.
Talking about Ankita Lokhande’s participation in Naagin 7, a source previously told Fimibeat, “Ankita Lokhande is in contention to play the lead role in Naagin 7. There’s a strong buzz that she will take over the charge from Tejasswi Prakash for the upcoming season. Things are in the pipeline but yes, she is in consideration. Considering her popularity and acting prowess, she might be the perfect fit for the role of a shape-shifting serpent”.
However, in a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Ankita Lokhande denied all the rumors. During her conversation, Ankita revealed that she has not been approached for the TV series and will not be doing the show. Apart from Ankita Lokhande, Ankit Gupta, Abhishek Kumar, and Neil Bhatt have also been speculated to be a part of the show. However, no confirmation has been given away by the makers so far.

On the work front, Ankita Lokhande was last seen in Salman Khan’s reality show, Bigg Boss 17 alongside her husband Vicky Jain. She will next be seen in alongside Randeep Hooda in the film, Veer Savarkar.
