During her interviews, Ranjana Jain, Vicky’s mother claimed that she and her husband were against Vicky’s marriage with Ankita Lokhande. She also accused Ankita of gaining sympathy by using Sushant Singh Rajput’s name in Bigg Boss 17. Finally, after coming out of the show, Ankita Lokhande has now broken her silence and reacted to her mother-in-law’s comments and statements against her.
Talking to Galatta India, the actress acknowledged her mother-in-law’s partiality toward her husband. Ankita revealed that her mother-in-law has never witnessed her son in distress, which made her overly emotional upon seeing his condition in the Bigg Boss house. The Pavitra Rishta star mentioned that she harbors no grievances regarding her mother-in-law’s preference for Vicky, as she empathizes with a mother’s sentiments.
When questioned about her mother-in-law’s public accusations against her, the actress explained that any statements she made were fueled by affection. She described her in-laws as appearing tough on the outside but being gentle at heart. Additionally, she mentioned that her father-in-law expressed displeasure towards her and Vicky Jain due to their fights during their stay in the show.
