During a press briefing before the show’s debut on Netflix, Grover shed light on his past disagreement with Kapil Sharma, playfully suggesting that their fight was merely a staged event for Netflix long before its arrival in India. After seven years, the duo has reunited for the Netflix series, and Grover jokingly remarked about their resolved feud, implying that it was all planned years ago.

“We were seated on the flight and we learned that Netflix was coming to India. So, kuch aisa ho ke (acha) publicity stunt ho,” Sunil joked, poking fun at the feud between him and Kapil.

Sunil also quipped that Netflix India had reached out to them, asking for suggestions, which led to the idea. Kapil added that Sunil was occupied with various projects, including several series and other commitments, which hindered their reunion. Sunil expressed that returning felt like coming home, emphasizing his enjoyment of working with Kapil and his team.
