Special Ops 2.0 Coming Soon? Neeraj Pandey Reveals Exciting Details

Special Ops is an espionage thriller web series created by Neeraj Pandey. It centers on India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), and chronicles the journey of Himmat Singh, portrayed by Kay Kay Menon, a RAW agent. Singh is assigned the responsibility of leading a team to pursue a notorious terrorist responsible for multiple attacks in India.

The first season of the web series was a huge success. After receiving a good response and appreciation from the audience, the web series is all set for its second season. Recently the filmmaker, Neeraj Pandey is known for his films like “Baby”, and “M.S. Dhoni” and web series like, “Khakee” opened up about the second season of his popular web series, “Special Ops”.

Neeraj Pandey On Special Ops 2.0

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Neeraj Pandey shared some interesting details about Special Ops 2.0. The filmmaker revealed that the series is currently in the post-production stage and will be completed within the next 3-4 months. He said, “We are going to complete the post in the next 3 or 4 months. The shoot is complete. It has been shot all over the world. Right from Budapest to Turkey to Georgia and three other places. It is bigger and hopefully better.”

When asked about if the web series will have a 3 season as well Neeraj told the portal, “I don’t know. Let 2 come out. We’ll have a feedback from you people and all that and if the audiences encourage us to make another one then why not!”

Special Ops season 1 featured Kay Kay Menon in the lead role as a RAW agent named, Himmat Singh. Apart from him, the series also featured Sana Khan, Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Muzammil Ibrahim, Divya Dutta, Vinay Pathak, Meher Vij and others.
