Netflix India Renews It’s Crime Drama Series Class For Second Season

Class is is adapted by Ashim Ahluwalia from the Spanish series Elite.

Netflix India has greenlit the second season for their critically acclaimed and popular show Class, which is adapted by Ashim Ahluwalia from the Spanish series Elite.

Netflix India made the announcement by sharing a short clip. “We’ve felt your love for the first season of Class loud and clear! The show received massive fan love and started multiple conversations about differing socio-economic backgrounds, mental health, love and representation and we can’t wait to up the ante and bring back all this and more in Season 2.”

The series features an ensemble cast of young actors including Piyush Khati, Gurfateh Peerzada, Quayal Singh, and Madhyama Sehgal, and explores the themes of class division and wealth inequality in India.

Class, which topped the India list for five consecutive weeks, and also featured in the global top 10 list, features three students from middle-class and underprivileged backgrounds who receive a scholarship to attend a prestigious international school.

Although Class has been renewed for a second season, there’s nothing more to share at the moment.
