Michael Douglas Speaks Hindi With Help Of Ayushmann Khurrana, Says “I Love You India”

American actor and producer Michael Douglas's video saying "I Love You India" in Hindi went viral on social media.

American actor and producer Michael Douglas recently attended the 54th International Film Festival of India. During the event, the actor and producer was awarded with Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award which was presented to him by Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana.

While presenting the award to the American actor, Ayushmann helped him say a few words in Hindi. In the viral video, actor Ayushmann Khurrana urges Douglas to say a few words in Hindi, he says, “I would like you to say a few words in Hindi”. He adds, “It goes like, India main aapse bahut pyaar karta hu”.

Douglas follows Ayushmann Khurrana’s lead and starts to enunciate each syllable in Hindi, although he fumbles in the first attempt he makes it in his second attempt. Watch the viral video.

Prior to this, Michael Douglas was also seen dancing on the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu. The actor was joined by producer Shailendra Singh as he danced and grooved on stage to the song. Douglas was seen replicating the hook steps of the song from the film RRR.

The American actor and producer was also seen applauding Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in the field of film production and finance. Douglas said, “I do think that under minister Anurag Thakur as well as Prime minister Modi the last few years we’ve seen more money put into the production and financing of films, it’s been a very successful time.”
