Megan Thee Stallion Is Officially A College Graduate Now

Megan Thee Stallion previously opened up about her dream to get her degree despite her rapid success in the music industry

The three-time Grammy Award winner, 26, graduated Saturday afternoon from Texas Southern University with a bachelor of science degree in health administration, achieving a long-held goal that has remained close to heart amid her catapult to fame.

After years of balancing her booming rap career and school, the 26-year-old WAP hitmaker shared photos and footage of the moment she accepted her diploma on Saturday. “Meg Thee Graduate. I know my parents are looking down on me so proud. Thank you everyone for all the love today,” she captioned her series of photos and videos.

In the first photo, she can be seen swinging her cap and gown as well as two honors cords and burgundy graduation stole while sitting down. Meanwhile, before the ceremony, the academic star smiled as she lounged on a grey couch next to a black Chanel purse with gold-tone hardware. In another snap, she shot a peace sign at the camera before posing for a car selfie, which showcased her waist-length curls and alluring makeup.

Along with her happy photos and the streaming link for the commencement ceremony, the performer included a picture of her diploma holder and a Ferrero Rocher chocolate with a DIY grad cap on top of it. However, for her big day, she opted for a gorgeous bedazzled manicure and black dress.

The Good News artist previously shared some graduation photos to Instagram this week, for which she partnered with Nike. “HOTTIES…I’m officially a @nike Yardrunner, y’all!” Megan captioned. “I’ll be graduating from my HBCU TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY this Saturday!! I want y’all to remember that you can do whatever you wanna do and be whoever you wanna be, cause look at me!”

However, she previously opened up about her dream to get her degree despite her rapid success in the music industry. Megan was inspired by her late mother Holly Thomas, who died in March 2019 after suffering from brain cancer. “I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,” Megan said last year.
