Lil Wayne Leaves The Stage After Being Pushed By Backstage Member

The Show Was Also In The News After 50 Cent Threw A Microphone Into The Crowd

Lil Wayne was supposed to join 50 Cent on stage, but unfortunately, he had to leave, according to reports from Page Six. The rap sensation, who was in the building and was supposed to join 50, and was getting ready for the performance, was pushed out of the way by a backstage member, perhaps not realizing who he was, which apparently irked him.

And when the time came to join ‘In Da Club’ star, Lil was nowhere to be found.

“He just stormed out,” said a backstage source to Page Six. “He was in the building for about 20 minutes total.”

But the show was also in the news after 50 Cent threw a microphone into the crowd, which hit a concertgoer and left her injured, eventually leading to her hospitalization.

The reason behind his actions appeared to be malfunctioning microphones. In his initial attempt, he hurled the microphone with relatively little force. However, when the second microphone also proved to be nonfunctional, his frustration escalated, leading him to launch it forcefully into the audience.

The person hit was identified as Bryhana. Photographs of her have circulated on social media, depicting her with a visible wound on her forehead, and she can be seen with bloody towels wrapped around her neck.

Scott Leemon, an attorney for 50 Cent, said in a statement, as per Variety, “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) this afternoon (August 31), my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”
