Kim Kardashian was recently slammed by fans for sharing photos of her with Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson at a juvenile detention centre on Thursday. The reality TV star and the NBL player held an ‘inspiring’ Friendsgiving at a juvenile detention centre in Los Angeles, but many social media users were baffled by the snaps.
Taking to the comment, one user wrote about the athlete, who was caught cheating on Khloe, 38, multiple times throughout their on/off relationship, “You left Tristan at the jail right?” ‘Kim what we aren’t going to do is make Tristan the enemy and then try to give him his redemption arc. Blur his face out lol,’ another added.
Another fan commented, “I see they finally pit Tristan in jail.’ Another added, ‘Why are you doing this with Tristan after what he did to your sister? Please make it make sense.’ Someone else wrote. ‘Why do yal still fw him on occasions that don’t involve his daughter,’ another one pondered, referring to his and Khloe’s four-year-old daughter True. Another fan joked that they thought Kim ‘finally put him in jail using her LAW SCHOOL degree.’
Aside from daughter True, Khloe and Tristan, who are no longer together, share a three-month-old son born in July. The baby boy was conceived via surrogate last year. Unknown to Khloe, the NBA star had impregnated fitness trainer Maralee Nichols in March 2021 and he was informed of her pregnancy as early as July 2021. Despite knowing he had a baby on the way with another woman, Tristan kept the news from Khloe and encouraged her to continue on with their surrogacy journey.
An embryo transfer was successfully completed in November 2021, just one week before DailyMail reported that Tristan was expecting a child with Maralee. Tristan apologised to Khloe, whom he has cheated on numerous times in the past including while she was pregnant with their daughter True in 2018. Despite the public cheating, the couple reconciled and stayed together, until their split in February 2019 after he was seen kissing Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF Jordyn Woods.
