In Hollywood, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are known to be the epitome of relationship goals. Their 12 years of relationship is more than any Hollywood fancy events and red carpet. Many times it gets difficult for celebrities to keep glamour out of their relationship, and then it affects the bond between them. Lively and Ryan are exceptions to this. Lively shared a secret of their relationship which has kept it intact and made the foundation strong.

“A Simple Favor” actress Blake Lively and “Deadpool” actor Ryan Reynolds got into a relationship in 2011. This couple shared 4 kids: 3 daughters and announced another baby in February 2023. But this couple has been really successful in maintaining a balance between their professional and personal life.

In conversation with Amber Tamblyn on her show, Lively talked about that one rule in their relationship. She disclosed, “When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule not to work at the same time. So that we could always prioritize our personal lives.” But this decision is really difficult when you work in the entertainment industry. She further continued saying, “That takes working really hard when we’re not. Just like financial planning and sustaining that, it takes balance. I’m used to working hard and going and going and going and going and not stopping. Especially, Gossip Girl was six years of my life, and we were sometimes shooting three episodes at once.”

When Ryan and Lively decided to be parents, Ryan was also at the peak of success in his career. Couple strikes a balance in their relationship with that one rule and are now considered to be an ideal couple.

Talking about the workfront, Ryan will appear in the Deadpool franchise’s next movie and Blake Lively will be seen in Colleen Hover’s novel-based movie “It Ends With Us”.
