Doja Cat’s TikTok fans recently saw her vent about her dispute with 17-year-old Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp, but now the 26-year-old has turned to entertain her viewers in other ways, including an Amber Heard imitation. Similar to the Aquaman actress, who was asked to describe a previous bee sting during her testimony in her defamation case with ex-husband Johnny Depp, the Kiss Me More singer-songwriter stated in her TikTok video that her puppy was recently bitten by a bee.
“It’s honestly hella sad ‘cuz like, she’s a puppy, my dog,” Doja Cat told her viewers. “And I’ve had her for like a week and a half, maybe two weeks now. And she like, was just running around in the grass, and she steps on a bee.” The incident and Heard and Depp’s trial happened at the exact same moment, so the rapper seized the chance to make a viral video. “Y’all know what time it is,” she said. “Y’all know what f* time it is!”
The singer squinted her eyes and repeated, “My dog stepped on a bee,” exactly like Heard had done on the stand during her testimony. She repeated, this time adding a theatrical twitch, “My dog stepped on a bee. She stepped on a f* bee. My dog stepped on a bee!” Heard, who filed for divorce from Depp in May 2016 after less than two years of marriage, frequently claimed during the trial that Depp had physically assaulted her and had endangered her life.
Depp adamantly refuted all of Heard’s claims. Doja Cat’s post appears to have drawn criticism because it is no longer accessible on her personal TikTok profile, although it is still widely shared online. In an Instagram Live video posted on Thursday, Doja Cat criticised Noah Schnapp, 17, for making their Instagram direct message chat public in a since-deleted TikTok.
The “Woman” rapper begged the actor to help match her up with his co-star Joseph Quinn during the conversation. While acknowledging that Schnapp is a minor in her video, Doja stated it was “borderline snake s***” for him to broadcast their private talk and called it “so unbelievably socially unaware and wack.”
