BTS member and idol, Min Yoongi famously known by his stage name, Suga has announced his military enlistment date. The rapper of the famous K-pop group BTS, will be enlisted for military training on September 22. The announcement was made on Sunday by BIGHIT music.
BIGHIT issues an official statement on Weverse, announcing that Suga aka Min Yoongi will be beginning his required service on September 22. The company also revealed that there won’t be any official events happening on the day he enters training camp. BIGHIT also asked the fans to refrain from visiting SUGA at his workplace during the period of his service.

Later BTS member Suga also came live on Weverse to bid his fans farewell before he joins the military. The idol was seen in with a shorter hairstyle, wearing a casual look with white t-shirt and a checkered shirt. During the live the idol assured his fans that he has filmed enough content to keep them entertained during the 18months of his time in the military. Suga ended the live asking his fans to not cry in his absence as they’ll reunite in 2025.

Reacting to the video, BTS members Jin and J-Hope also shared their reactions, J-Hope commented, “Watching the live before I submit my phone. The hair suits you well.” Kim Seok Jin also commented, “Hey J-Hope I was wondering where did he go while I was texting.. he was here.”
BTS’s Military Enlistment
For the unversed, BTS members Kim Seok Jin and J-Hope have already been enlisted for the military. Suga is the third member to join the military, while RM aka Kim Nam Joon is expected to be the 4th member to join the military soon. Jimin, V and Jungkook will be in the queue after RM.
For those who are unaware, in South Korea men between the age of, 18 to 28 years have to serve the military for at least 18 to 21, which is mandatory.
