Manisha’s strength and resilience in facing challenges serve as inspiration. Her remarkable contributions and cross-industry success make her an icon in the world of entertainment. However, after appearing in the Rajinikanth-starring film “Baba,” her career in the South came to an end.

Manisha Koirala recently discussed her experience working in the South Indian cinema industry. She mentioned that “Baba” was likely her last significant Tamil film, and due to its disastrous box office performance, she stopped receiving offers.

During a conversation with O2 India’s YouTube channel, Koirala shared, “Baba was probably my last major Tamil film. It failed miserably back then. It was a massive disaster. The film had high expectations, and its failure led me to believe that my career in South Indian films was completely over, and it did affect me to some extent.” The Dil Se actress further elaborated that after the failure of “Baba” at the box office, she ceased to receive offers.

She further said, the film turned out to be a hit when it was re-released, which is unheard of. Rajini sir can never give a flop. He is such a kind man to work with.
