When Reporter Asked Shah Rukh Khan If He Was Arrogant; “I Am…” The Actor Said, Watch Here

Shah Rukh Khan candidly response to the question of being arrogant, as the actor shares his thoughts on the matter

The makers of Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated movie “Jawan” recently released its Prevue, and netizens are buzzing with excitement. Shah Rukh looks absolutely captivating in his role, as do the other characters. The Prevue has garnered immense appreciation, reaching millions of views on YouTube within minutes.

However, it is interesting to note that Shah Rukh has been labeled as an arrogant hero in the past. In an interview with Lehren TV, when asked about his arrogance, he said these claims, stating, “I am confident and self-assured, which some may perceive as arrogance, then I am 100 percent arrogant. Perhaps that is why, when I sign on for a film, I tend to be meticulous and thorough. You could call it causing trouble or being detail-oriented.” Shah Rukh emphasized the importance of having a complete story, dialogues, and script before committing to a project, drawing from his background as a stage artist who understands the significance of a solid foundation. He expressed that now, with his success, people appreciate his attention to detail and believe it will contribute to his long-term success.

Shah Rukh also acknowledged that people’s perception of one’s actions depends on their position and reputation. He explained, “In the past, if I had asked for scripts in advance, people would have questioned me. Ultimately, how people perceive someone’s actions depends on their position and reputation.”

This is not the first time Shah Rukh has faced accusations of arrogance. In a previous interview with Rajeev Masand on the All About Movies podcast, it was revealed that Shah Rukh declined to participate in a roundtable interview with other actors. He stated, “Call me for the actresses’ roundtable. I’ll come and sit with the girls. I’m not going to sit and praise other guys…” Masand highlighted the ego factor among actors in the Indian film industry and explained that unlike in the West, where studios dictate promotional strategies, the power lies with the stars in India.

Apart from these incidents, Shah Rukh’s film “Jawan” is scheduled for release on September 17th this year, building further anticipation among his fans.
