Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is definitely one of the underrated actresses who has proved her versatility with her films and the variety of characters that she has portrayed on the silver screen and who has also been on the list of self-made actresses. She has given many memorable performances and is one of the most successful actresses in the industry without any support. However, due to being outsiders, actresses also had to face many problems. The biggest example of this is that during the promotion of one of her films, Karan Johar did not invite her to his show, saying she was not qualified at all.
Yami Gautam and Hrithik Roshan starred together in the much-acclaimed movie Kaabil in 2017. During the promotion of the movie, the duo wanted to visit Karan’s chat show. While Karan was wholeheartedly ready for Hrithik Roshan, he refused to invite Yami Gautam. Yes, you read it right! The filmmaker said directly to Hrithik that he is most welcome on his show, but Yami is not qualified enough to feature.
Karan Johar himself was keen on inviting Hrithik Roshan, but his plans fell through badly as the actor rejected being a part of his chat show. And even Hrithik wanted to promote his film, along with Yami.
As Karan Johar was in denial mode about inviting Yami Gautam on his show, Hrithik also chose not to be a part of it. He clearly rejected his old pal Karan Johar’s invitation.
Well, it’s clearly evident that Karan Johar is biased towards outsiders, as he happily invites newcomers like Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria, to get featured on the talk show. Don’t know what not qualified thing he saw in Yami.
