When Amitabh Bachchan Sent Legal Notice To Kumar Vishwas And Received Rs 32 In Return

The video, featuring Bachchan's poem 'Need ka Nirmaan Phir Phir,' is a part of his program 'Tarpan,' in which the AAP leader and poet pays tribute to noted Hindi poets.

Amitabh Bachchan has been a stalwart of Indian cinema for decades, and on many special occasions, the actor recites his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poems. However, there was a time when the actor had to send a legal notice to Kumar Vishwas for using his late father’s poems in one of his YouTube shows.

Amitabh took to his Twitter account and wrote, ‘This is a copyright infringement…! Legal action will take care of this.’

However, this did not sit well with Vishwas, and he was furious with the actor. In response, he stated that he would remove the video and send the amount he earned from the video on YouTube. ‘Received appreciation from all of the poet’s family but a notice from you, Sir. Deleting the tribute video to Babuji. Sending the earned Rs 32 as demanded. Pranam??’

An associate of Vishwas said that Rs 32 was the revenue generated from advertisements on YouTube.

The video, featuring Bachchan’s poem ‘Need ka Nirmaan Phir Phir,’ is a part of his program ‘Tarpan,’ in which the AAP leader and poet pays tribute to noted Hindi poets.

Vishwas further added that he received appreciation from other poets’ families but received a legal notice from Amitabh.
