Singham Of Bollywood, Ajay Devgn made his acting debut with the film, ‘Phool Aur Kaante’. He entered Bollywood in the year 1991 and recently his film was completed 32 years. He shared a post on Instagram remembering the good old days of Phool Aur Kaante. Phool Aur Kaante was a hit at the box office, which made Anil Kapoor’s ‘Lamhe’ flop as both the films were released at the same time. But there were more chances of Lamhe getting hit because of Anil Kapoor’s presence in the industry.
It is said that Anil Kapoor did warn Ajay not to release his film during the same period, otherwise the film would face loss. Many actors from Bollywood did criticise Ajay’s appearance, saying how this guy could be a hero. But Ajay Devgn distorted the perception of others through his performance in the film and today he is one of the successful and most loved actors in the industry.
Ajay Devgn shared an old video of him and shared a beautiful memory during the premiere of his debut film. He said, “It was the premiere of the film at Galaxy and along with it, another show was being screened at Gemini, a small theatre in the vicinity. The tickets were sold out. I sneaked out of the projection room, went inside the hall, and sat in the first row. When the song ‘College ki ladki’ played, people started throwing coins. They hit me on my head. I picked up that money and kept it. Later, I got it framed.”
He also shared some old posters of this film on social media. On the other hand, now this actor is all set to meet the audience soon with his fierce look in Singham Again. His look was revealed on social media by Rohit Shetty. He captioned it with, “Sher aatank machaata hai, aur zakhmi sher tabaahi! Everyone’s favourite cop, BAJIRAO SINGHAM IS BACK! SINGHAM AGAIN…”
