Unravelling Fighter Movie Box Office Collection: Hit or Flop?

Fighter movie continues to perform well globally, amassing a gross worldwide collection of Rs 225 crore.

The high-octane Bollywood movie “Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has made a striking impact at the box office and is continuing its triumphant run by culminating in a staggering worldwide box office collection. It is a patriotic action drama that kicked off with a strong opening day collection of Rs 22 crore, as reported on January 26. The trade expert felt that the film should end up making Rs 100 crore in the first four days to be considered a hit. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is India’s first aerial action movie, marks the commencement of a new franchise, and debuted at the top of the global charts this weekend. Focused on the Indian Air Force, the film has already sold a whopping 2, 37,993 tickets for its 14,589 shows across India, showing huge interest. It is produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures.

The movie continues to perform well globally, amassing a gross worldwide collection of Rs 225 crore milestone, but it falls short compared to Siddharth Anand’s previous films like War and Pathaan. The film has received rave reviews for its engrossing storyline, leading to its soaring success. It is getting mixed to positive responses, there was a slight dip in earnings, as it entered its sixth day of release.

Fighter film had a stellar start at the box office on its first day. It was released on January 25, a day before Republic Day. What worked in its favor is how it saw a huge jump on Republic Day and made Rs 39.5 crore. The film is enjoying a steady run in theaters and has earned around Rs 134 crore net in India. Despite the slum, the film managed to remain steady, earning around Rs 7.75 crore net in India on its sixth day. The cumulative box office collection for Fighter in India now stands at Rs 134.25 crore net.
