Earlier this week it was revealed that a staff member at Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor’s home had tested positive for the COVD-19. Following the guidelines issued by the health authorities, he was sent into a mandatory quarantine and the family hoped for his quick recovery. Meanwhile, the news has broke out that two more staff members have tested positive for the coronavirus. They were asymptomatic earlier.
Following the news, Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor released an official statement earlier saying that all of them were doing well and are in quarantine as per the mandatory safety measures. Boney’s statement read, “Myself, my children and the other staff at home are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven’t left our home since the lockdown started. We are thankful to Govt of Maharashtra and BMC for their swift response. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by BMC and their medical team. We are sure that Charan would soon recover and be back at home with us.”
After their staff member tested positive, Boney Kapoor informed their building society authorities in Lokhandwala. They got in touch with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Mumbai and let them handle the rest.
The family is currently quarantining elsewhere and are keeping themselves updated about the health of the staff members who have been tested positive for COVID-19.
Alongside Boney Kapoor’s statement that was shared on Janhvi Kapoor’s Instagram, the actress captioned, “Staying at home is still the best solution we have. Stay safe everyone.”
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in Roohi Afza alongside Rajkumar Rao. Post that she will be featuring in Dostana 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan and Lakshya.
