Sunny Leone, known for her appearances in Bollywood films such as “Motichoor Chaknachoor,” “Jism 2,” and “Ragini MMS 2,” recently opened up about her journey in the adult film industry. Before entering Bollywood, she had established herself as a prominent producer and actor in pornographic films. During a YouTube podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia’s Beerbiceps, Sunny revealed that she had worked with prominent companies in the adult film industry, equivalent to renowned Bollywood production houses like Dharma Productions and Yash Raj Films.
“I had the opportunity to work with the best of the best companies in the adult film industry, which was a great aspect of my career. When I say ‘the best,’ I can compare them to companies like Dharma Productions and Yash Raj Films in Bollywood. I worked with Vivid and Penthouse. As time went on, it all fell into place. I made sure to carefully read each contract so that the companies hiring me would get what they wanted, and I would get what I desired. I ensured that nobody could take advantage of me,” Sunny shared.
She further added, “I had to work harder, perhaps inspired by seeing other girls succeed and how quickly things worked for them. My progress was steady, and I chose not to engage in certain things happening around me, as it wasn’t the path I wanted to take at that time. But this has been the story of my life, always needing to work two or three times harder. It’s time-consuming, but it takes me where I want to be.”
Regarding her latest film “Kennedy,” which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Sunny Leone shares the screen with Rahul Bhat in a crime thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap. The release date for the Indian audience is yet to be decided.
