The two were earlier reported to tie the knot this year, reacting to the reports Athiya Shetty’s father and the Bollywood veteran actor Suniel Shetty revealed that the duo will get married when they will be free from their work commitments.

During a conversation with Instant Bollywood, veteran actor Suniel Shetty was asked if there was some kind of wedding preparation happening at this moment, reacting to the question Suniel Shetty said, “I think Jaise hi bachhe decide karenge. Rahul ke schedules hai. Abhi Aisa Cup hai, World Cup hai, South African tour hai, Australia tour hai. Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi. Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na? (I think whenever the kids will decide. Rahul is currently having a busy schedule which includes Asia Cup, World Cup, South African tour, and Australia tour. When kids will get a break from work, marriage will happen. You can’t get married in a day, right?)”.
Athiya Shetty On Her Wedding Rumors In 3 Months
Apart from Suniel Shetty his daughter Athiya Shetty was recently seen addressing the rumors about her wedding for the first time, reacting to the reports about her marriage in “3 months” the actress wrote on Instagram, “I hope I’m invited to this wedding that’s taking place in 3 months lol.”

Athiya and KL Rahul recently jetted off to Germany last month for the medical treatment of the cricketer. Apparently, the actor was taken out of the India’s tour of England, after the latter sustained a groin injury soon after which he went down through surgery in Germany while his girlfriend Athiya was also seen accompanying the cricketer during the time.
Well, it seems like either the couple actually has no plans to get married this year or they just want to keep it a secret. In any case, we know for a fact that Athiya and KL Rahul would make a gorgeous couple.
