Social worker, politician, and line producer Shaukat Shaikh is quite a famous name in the tinsel town. While he has all good things to say about the celebrities that he meets on a daily basis, he was recently bowled over by Aditya Roy Kapur and has become a fan for life.
Shaukat was managing the outdoor shoots of Aditya’s upcoming movie Om: The Battle Within and sharing his experience of meeting the actor, he said, “He is so down-to-earth. His shoot got over at 2 am, and he still took time out to click pictures with his fans who were waiting for him. You might feel it’s quite normal, but what surprised me was that he gave everyone solo pictures and clicked it again if the pictures did not come out well”.
He also added, “I even asked him that he should just give one group picture, but he refused. He is such a famous actor, and I was in awe of him for the time he gave to his fans, he was so patient even after shooting through the day. He is a gem of a person”.
Not just that, Shaukat was mighty impressed with the actor’s dedication towards his work and fitness. He said, “When I met him I asked he would like to have something, but he said no, and told me that he on a strict regime. He only has like one chapati in a day. He is very disciplined and used to work out in the gym everyday. That shows how passionate he is towards his craft”.
But he is happy that he will be meeting Aditya soon, and said, “Aditya told me that he was in Lonavala during the lockdown and will be back again in March once he wraps up the shoot of ‘Om…’ I am looking forward to it”.
Asked if he has seen Aditya’s movies, Shaukat said, “I loved him in Aashiqui 2, he was absolutely amazing, and I recently saw Malang, he has done a fabulous job in that too”.
