Sandeep Reddy Vanga Reacts To Criticism Of Animal Climax: ‘Maar Doon Hero Ko’

In a recent interview, Sandeep Reddy Vanga broke his silence on Animal and Kabir Singh receiving criticism for their climax.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2023 film, Animal garnered huge attention and a lot of criticism for “toxic masculinity”. During the argument, many netizens also brought up his previous film, Kabir Singh in the controversy. Finally, in a recent interview, Sandeep Reddy Vanga broke his silence by reacting to the criticism of his films and stated that the audience criticized the climax of his films because of their “personal agenda.”

Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar Vanga said, “People are accustomed to a hero giving a lecture in the climax,” he added, “He should accept on the screen that what he did was wrong, that is when people get satisfied. They wanted Kabir to accept that he was wrong and that he should not have gotten Preeti. In Animal too, there were so many consequences, the father is going to die, his wife will be leaving him, his health is gone for a toss. Aur kya chahiye, maar dun hero ko climax mein?”.

Talking about people’s personal agenda, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said, “It’s a problem when people don’t get the desired climax. When personal agenda comes in between watching a film, then Avatar will be boring, Animal kya hai?”.

In the same interview, Sandeep took a dig at Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao after the latter criticized his film. Indirectly hinting at Kiran Rao, Sandeep said, “Today morning, my AD showed me an article. It is of the second ex-wife of a superstar. She is saying that films like Bahubaali 2 and Kabir Singh promote misogyny and stalking. I think she does not know the difference between stalking and approaching. When people read these things out of context, they tend to agree. This is entirely wrong.”
