Music buffs across India celebrated the poster and the teaser of the musical rendition, a song reimagined by Altaf Raja and Tony Kakkar. Summoning the musical memories of the 90s era, the song of the year releases much to the delight of the listeners.

Directed by Farah Khan Kunder the song stars India’s very own hero of hearts, Sonu Sood and Nidhhi Agerwal. Shot in the lush greenery of Punjab, the recreated song depicts a melodious lament of a cynical lover.

With Sonu essaying the role of a farmer who becomes a cop, the captivating music video helmed by Farah has a charming love story and a desi flavour rooted in it.

Director Farah Khan says, “Kudos to Altaf Raja and Tony Kakkar for creating a memorable song, which incidentally marked my first brush with a love story based in the hinterland. Saath Kya Nibhaoge has an unmistakable desi flavour that makes it endearing. I’m thrilled that it’s out and I believe it has a flair for being the ultimate chartbuster”.

Sonu Sood says, “The experience of shooting for Saath Kya Nibhaoge refreshed my memories on so many levels. I remembered working with Farah during Happy New Year and listening to the original song by Altaf Raja over the radio in the 90s. Not to mention, shooting in Punjab felt like I was working from home. I hope  our hard work pays off and the audience have something to cherish with this song”.
