Rajkummar Rao is all set to star in the upcoming biopic of the visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, titled SRI. The biopic, which also stars Sharad Kelkar, Joytika and Alaya F, has finally got a release date. The film will arrive in cinemas on September 15, 2023. Makers dropped the film’s release date on social media.
Rajkummar was last seen in Vasan Bala’s Monica, O My Darling, which also starred Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte and Sikandar Kher.
SRI marks Tamil actress Jyotika’s return to Hindi cinema after 25 years. Her last Hindi project was Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, which was also her acting debut.
SRI is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani under their banner T-Series Films and Chalk N Cheese Films Production LLP.

Srikanth, a visually impaired businessman is a co-founder of a Bollant Industries, which manufactures areca based products and provide employment to hundreds of people suffering with various physical disabilities.
