Actress Priyanka Chopra made headlines as she finalized the sale of two opulent apartments situated in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala area, reaping a staggering Rs 6 crore, according to reports from ETimes. The buyer, none other than acclaimed filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey, known for his stellar works such as ‘Udta Punjab’ and more, secured these properties.
Situated on the 9th floor of the Karan Apartment Tower in Lokhandwala, these two flats collectively span an impressive 2,300 square feet. The transactions, reportedly overseen by Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, were executed on Priyanka’s behalf.
Abhishek Chaubey, in addition to the apartment cost, paid duty charges amounting to Rs 36 lakh for the registration of these transactions. The deals were finalized on October 23 and October 25, according to Zapkey.com reports.
Having entered Bollywood with ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’ in 2003, Priyanka Chopra swiftly made her mark in the industry, featuring in a string of successful films such as ‘The Sky Is Pink,’ ‘Barfi!,’ ‘Dil Dhadakne Do,’ among others. Her journey transcended borders as she swiftly transitioned into a Hollywood sensation.

However, conflicting narratives surround this project, with speculations suggesting her reluctance due to concerns about the script. In an earlier interview with Variety, Farhan Akhtar hinted at Priyanka’s busy schedule causing a significant ‘tizzy’ in terms of dates.
