Recently released Hindi film Pathaan is officially a blockbuster. The film grossed over Rs 100 crore worldwide on its opening day and became the fastest film to cross Rs 250 crore mark, leaving all time grossers- KGF 2, Dangal and Baahubali 2 behind. While Pathaan is all set to give a tough fight to Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 at the box office, it has failed to match their IMDb rating. Pathaan IMDb rating is quite lower than the south blockbusters.
Pathaan IMDb Rating: Its been over 5 days of Pathaan‘s release, and the film is currently rated 6.9/10 on IMDb. On the other hand, KGF: Chapter 2 has an impressive rating of 8.3 while SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is rated 8/10.
Gandhi Godse IMDb Rating: Pathaan clashed with Rajkumar Santoshi’s film Gandhi Godse: Ek Yudh last week. This film was made with a very low-budget, had no big star cast, lacked promotions and had limited screens for release. Though Gandhi Godse is nowhere close to Pathaan‘s box office earning, it has beaten SRK’s film in terms of IMDb Rating. Gandhi Godse is currently rated 8.1 out of 10.
Well, even though Pathaan doesn’t have an impressive rating, it is roaring at the box office globally.
Pathaan is a spy thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films. It features Indian megastars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles.
