Directed by Shakti Pratap Singh, the much-awaited action-thriller, Operation Valentine was finally released in the theatres on 1 March 2024. Featuring Varun Tej and Manushi Chhillar, the film garnered praise from critics, but audience reception was mixed, with some labeling it as “average.” Now that the film has finished its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Operation Valentine Box Office Collection
As per Sacnilk.com, Operation Valentine started off low at the box office. The film earned ₹ 1.5 Cr on its first day (opening day) at the box office. The film showed no signs of growth in the days that followed. Operation Valentine earned ₹ 1.95 Cr on Saturday, ₹ 1.85 Cr on Sunday, ₹ 1.02 Cr on Monday, ₹ 1.03 Cr on Tuesday, ₹ 0.95 Cr on Wednesday and is expected to earn around ₹ 0.03 Cr on Thursday. The film now stands at a domestic total of ₹ 8.28 Cr.
Operation Valentine Hit Or Flop?
“Operation Valentine” has not achieved significant success commercially. Despite an initial opening of ₹1.5 Cr, the film failed to sustain momentum and saw diminishing returns over the following days. The film failed to see any growth even during the weekend.
With a cumulative domestic total of ₹8.28 Cr, it falls short of reaching a level indicative of box office success. The consistent decline in earnings throughout the week suggests a lack of audience interest, indicating that “Operation Valentine” is likely to be categorized as a box office “flop” rather than a hit.
