Merry Christmas IMDB Ratings Beats Animal, Dunki, Salaar & Other Films!

Sriram Raghavan's action thriller, Merry Christmas has received higher IMDb ratings than many blockbuster hit films like, Dunki, Animal and others.

Sriram Raghavan’s much-anticipated film Merry Christmas was released in theatres on 12th January 2024. Just hours after its release, the film opened up to extremely positive reviews from both critics and moviegoers, who called the action-thriller one of the best films by Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif. After the critics and the public shared their reviews, IMDb also released their official rating of Merry Christmas.

And shockingly, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer action-thriller, Merry Christmas has managed to beat several recent blockbuster hit films like Animal, Pathaan, Jawan, and others in terms of ratings. Sriram Raghavan’s film Merry Christmas is currently rated 9.1/10 on IMDb.

This number is surprisingly higher than several recent blockbuster hits like Dunki which received 7.6/10, Salaar which received 6.7/10, Animal which received a total of 6.8/10, Sam Bahadur which received 8.2/10, Pathaan which received 5.9/10 among others.

The action-thriller has opened up to positive reviews from moviegoers and the critics. While some netizens called the film a “solid slow burn crime mystery thriller”, others tagged the film as the best movie by Katrina Kaif in her decades-long career.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas is an action thriller film, starring Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif with South actor Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Shot in Hindi and Tamil, Merry Christmas was released in theatres on 12th January 2024.

Apart from Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi, the Hindi version features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams.
