‘Manoj Bajpayee’ stands superiorly tall in the list of most talented actors the Hindi Film Industry has ever witnessed. With his terrific performances in ventures like ‘Shool’, ‘Veer-Zara’, ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ and ‘The Family Man’, the artist has won numerous hearts and several prestigious awards at multiple occasions. Recently Manoj shared the experience of watching Zoya Akhtar’s directorial ‘The Archies’ with his daughter ‘Ava’, however it seems the father- daughter duo didn’t like the movie that much; after all Bajpayee could just see the first 50 minutes of the film.
In an Interview with Zoom the ‘Satya’ star revealed “My daughter was watching The Archies and I told her, ‘I am not liking it’. She was like, ‘Okay’ and by then I had watched it for 50 minutes. Archies is not a part of my growing up years. My growing-up years included Motu Patlu and Ram Balram. I might have read maybe just one book of Archies and I remember Veronica and Betty. But, she was also not liking it.” Additionally The Family Man has also advised Ava (daughter) to converse in Hindi but in return got a scolding for not spending enough time with the family. Manoj added “Every time I start scolding her, she scolds me in return.”
For the unversed ‘Archies’ is a teen musical-drama film, being an official adaptation of the famous ‘Archies Comics’. Created by ‘Zoya Akhtar’ and helmed by ‘Tiger Baby Films’, this movie was directly released at the OTT Giant ‘Netflix’ On the ‘7th Of December’. The project flaunted a star-studded cast including ‘Agastya Nanda’, ‘Khushi Kapoor’, ‘Suhana Khan’, ‘Vedang Raina’, ‘Mihir Ahuja’, ‘Aditi Saigal’ & ‘Yuvraj Menda’.
