Reel life 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman' actor Shah Rukh Khan remains a true gentleman in real life too!

‘2023’ has magically proven to be a golden year for ‘Shah Rukh Khan’. The superstar made his much awaited comeback by delivering all time blockbuster hits including ‘Pathaan’ & ‘Jawan’, which successfully grossed the humongous mark of ‘Rs.500 crores’ net at the Indian box office. SRK-Rajkumar Hirani’s highly anticipated venture ‘Dunki’, co-starring ‘Vicky Kaushal’, ‘Taapsee Pannu’ and ‘Boman Irani’ is also gliding well at the multiplex windows minting decent numbers. Shah has always been in talks for his charming personality and gentlemanly gestures which in turn is the reason why Khan has garnered immense respect and praises from his co-actresses over the years.

Recently in an interview with Rajshri Unplugged, Shah Rukh’s ‘Fan’ movie co-star and batchmate ”Deepika Amin” opened up about their 20 years old nostalgic ‘Barry John Theatre’ days. Deepika revealed that the DDLJ actor was not only energetic but considerate and generous too; safely dropping girls home after late night rehearsals. “Shah Rukh and Rituraj were the two people who had cars and they used to drop all the girls to their respective homes. It felt like a transport vehicle and everyone used to pile up. Shah Rukh had the Maruti van and he used to drop everyone one by one to their homes. Everyone used to help each other. We used to all go and buy costumes together”, She expressed.

Amin elaborated ”The energy he (SRK) had back then, is still there. People talk about his energy, his enthusiasm and how he is always saying ‘let’s do this, let’s do that.’ And he used to help everyone a lot. Whenever we used to do rehearsals, (in theatre) it would get late at night and Shah Rukh was the only person who had a car.”

On Working with the Dunki Star back in ‘Fan’ 2016, Deepika Amin informed DNA in an interview that: “Initially, I was surprised, as I am not old enough to play his mom. In fact, we are contemporaries — he may be a couple of years older to me! But the makers assured me that I was playing mom to the Shah Rukh who plays the fan Gaurav and that with special effects and prosthetic he will look younger.”
