Bollywood Actress Mandira Bedi Faces Nightmare Chaos at Mumbai Airport

Mandira Bedi recounts horrifying experience of disarray and negligence during her arrival at Mumbai Terminal 2.

Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi was left in a state of utter chaos upon her arrival at Mumbai airport on Wednesday. Taking to her Instagram account, she shared a harrowing story, stating, “And so after 2 weeks, 3 countries, and 6 airports, my kids and I landed in a nightmare at Mumbai’s Terminal 2. Not a single arriving flight is displayed on the screen. Or on the conveyor belts. Absolute chaos reigns, with the hapless passengers not having a clue where to go.”

Adding to her account, Mandira exclaimed, “After a hit-and-miss of three belts and more than an hour of asking around… I saw one lone suitcase on some deserted belt and my other suitcase offloaded near another belt, just lying there unattended. What a welcome home.” This disorganized and neglectful situation left the actress deeply unsettled.

Last month, Mandira penned an emotional note on Instagram in remembrance of her late husband, Raj Kaushal. Expressing her grief, she wrote, “2 years. We miss you… your larger than life presence, your zest for life, your big, loving heart.”

Raj, a filmmaker known for movies like ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’ and ‘Shaadi Ke Laddoo,’ passed away due to a sudden heart attack on June 30, 2021, leaving everyone shattered. Mandira and Raj tied the knot in 1999 and welcomed their son Veer in 2020. They later adopted a baby girl named Tara.

Mandira Bedi has been a prominent face in television and has also appeared in Bollywood films such as ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and the anthology ‘Dus Kahaniyaan’.
