The 2024 Met Gala featured the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” with guests following the “The Garden of Time” dress code inspired by JG Ballard’s short story. For fashion’s biggest night of 2024, at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, rapper, Doja Cat wore a white gown or according to the netizens just a maxi-length “wet” T-shirt by Vetements. She completed the ensemble with striking glam, featuring glittery painted teardrops adorning her smoky eye makeup and flawless skin while sporting her natural hair in a clean buzz cut. However, according to many netizens, her look this year at Met Gala was a complete “miss”.
Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth made his Met Gala debut alongside his wife Elsa Pataky. The actor and Met Gala co-chair arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing an off-white cream suit by Tom Ford. Meanwhile, Pataky stunned in a radiant golden long-sleeved gown with a mock turtleneck. However, fans were not satisfied with Chris’ outfit for the night. Fans tagged Chris’ look as just “bland”. Similarly, Greta Gerwig’s full black outfit also disappointed the fans who stated that it was more on the “official” side and would be good for some award event but definitely a miss for the “Met Gala”.
