Madgaon Express Box Office Collection Day 1: Film Takes A SLOW Start!

Directed by Bollywood actor, Kunal Kemmu, the much-anticipated comedy-drama, “Madgaon Express” was released in theatres on 22 March. Starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, and Nora Fatehi the comedy film has opened up to positive reviews from the moviegoers. Despite the positive reception from viewers, the film struggled to make a significant impact at the box office on its opening day.

“Madgaon Express” is a caper comedy following three friends as they pursue their childhood dream trip to Goa, which unexpectedly spirals into a nightmarish adventure. Starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam the film was released in theatres on 22 March.

Just hours following its debut in theaters, the film received glowing reviews and enthusiastic responses from the moviegoers. However, despite the favorable response the comedy-drama fell flat at the box office on its opening day. As per Sacnilk, the comedy-drama earned approx. ₹ 1.5 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office.

Despite the low start at the box office, the comedy-drama is expected to see some growth during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday). If all goes well the film can manage to cross the 5cr mark by the end of the weekend. Madgaon Express was released in theatres alongside Randeep Hooda starrer biographical drama, “Swatantra Veer Savarkar”.
