Popstar & actor Diljit Dosanjh portrays the character of Amar Singh Chamkila in the movie, while Parineeti Chopra plays Amarjot Kaur, Chamkila’s second wife. The highly anticipated Imtiaz Ali directorial is set to have a total of 15 songs in Diljit, Parineeti & Mohit Chauhan’s stellar voice that too composed by the music maestro A.R Rahman, in turn creating a magical-musical effect on the celluloid.

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh has also accepted that portraying Amar Singh Chamkila’s Character on screen has been one of the most challenging experiences of his life. In addition, the musical-biopic venture is also super special for Parineeti Chopra as the latter sacrificed a pivotal role in Ranbir Kapoor’s Blockbuster actioner Animal for the same. Amar Singh Chamkila is set to release on Netflix on April 12th, 2024.
