Sonakshi Sinha will next feature in her brother’s directorial debut film titled Nikita Roy And The Book Of Darkness. She will be seen playing the leading lady in her brother Kussh Sinha’s upcoming venture. Kush spoke about teaming up with his sister Sonakshi for the first time. He also shared his excitement about working on a film as a director.
The brother-sister duo collaborated for the first time. Kussh Sinha is set to make his debut as a director with Nikita Roy And The Book Of Darkness. They are bringing the bond they share at home to their workplace. The newbie director is happy and excited about his debut movie.
The first look poster of Nikita Roy And The Book Of Darkness was unveiled yesterday and it promises a dark horror film. In the spine-chilling poster, Sonakshi looked scary in the reflection of a dense forest.
The Dabbang star and her brother were waiting for the right project to work together. This collaboration was in process for long but they didn’t find a correct project to work on. She said: “Kussh and I wanted to collaborate for the right kind of project. Finally, we found something that we both liked and were excited about.”
Speaking about uniting with his sister and regarding his first venture, Kussh told ANI, “Sonakshi is a talented actor. I have always admired her for doing films that she entirely believed in. I have seen her grow as an actor and her journey in cinema. Now, I am going to be a part of it, too. When I found this script, I asked Sonakshi to take a look at it. We both felt drawn to the subject and that’s when we decided to take the plunge and work together. I am looking forward to working with talented artists such as Paresh Rawal Ji, Sonakshi, and Suhail Nayyar. It’s also a fabulous opportunity for my team at Kratos Entertainment to collaborate with Nicky Bhagnani and Vicky Bhagnani. They’ve been our friends for years and this project is a natural extension of that relationship. It’s a complete win-win for all of us.”
Nikita Roy is touted as a horror flick starring Sonakshi Sinha, Paresh Rawal, and Suhail Nayyar in prominent roles. It will be directed by Kussh Sinha and produced by Niki Bhagnani, Vicky Bhagnani, and Ankur Takarani under the banners of Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films and Nikita Pai Films.
