Katrina Kaif is gearing up for the release of her upcoming horror comedy Phone Bhoot. Completing almost 2 decades in the industry Kaif has worked with many actors including three Khans of Bollywood as well. She opened up about working with budding actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter in Phone Bhoot after having worked with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan.
Farhan Akhtar, who backed Phone Bhoot, held a candid chat with the cast of the movie. The actor-producer shared the video ‘Off The Record with team Phone Bhoot’ on his Instagram handle. In the video, Katrina was questioned after working with Shahrukh, Aamir, and Salman, what was it is like working with Siddhant and Ishaan.
Replying to the question Katrina said, “Working with Aamir, Shah Rukh, Salman, I mean they are such icons. They elevate everything they are in. They see the picture in totality. So, every suggestion that they give helps your character, helps your story. Being on sets in those kinds of films is absolutely wonderful.”
Talking about working with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter, she said: “They (Ishaan and Siddhant) are so enthusiastic, they are always working so hard, and constantly rehearsing. Comedy is all about spontaneity, and the fact that they could bring so much energy to the rehearsals was wonderful; they love what they do. And it is so wonderful to see.”
Citing her filmography with the three Khans of Bollywood, Katrina has worked with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in 2012 Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Both collaborated again in 2018 for Zero. Kaif has worked on two films with Aamir Khan namely Dhoom 3 in 2013 and Thugs of Hindostan in 2018. On the other hand, she has done several movies with Salman Khan including Hello (2008) Partner (2007), Tiger series, Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya (2005), and Bharat (2019).
Phone Bhoot is a horror comedy starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, and Jackie Shroff. Helmed by Gurmmeet Singh the horror flick is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film is bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banners of Excel Entertainment. Phone Bhoot will hit theatres on 4th November 2022.
