Katrina Kaif Reveals Secret: Phone Bhoot Ghost Is Scared Of Horror Movies

Katrina Kaif doesn’t enjoy watching horror movies, didn’t even complete Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Katrina Kaif is gearing up for her upcoming horror comedy Phone Bhoot. She will be accompanied by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter in the horror flick. Moving closer to the release Kaif revealed that she is scared of watching horror movies. She couldn’t even finish watching Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 despite it being comedy too. 

The 39-year-old actress is playing a ghost in her much-awaited Phone Bhoot. Ironically, she is scared of ghosts in real also doesn’t enjoy watching horror movies. During the promotions of Phone Bhoot, Katrina revealed this secret in a recent interview. The actress didn’t complete watching Katrik Aaryan and Tabu’s highly acclaimed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. 

In spite of knowing the remake of the Akshay Kumar starrer has humor, Kat couldn’t complete the movie. She was scared of watching Tabu in the ghost look. In a conversation with Pinkvilla Katrina Kaif revealed she doesn’t like watching horror movies. She said, “Not much. I can’t see them. I couldn’t finish Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Seriously I couldn’t. I had to like cover my eyes. When Tabu comes all that even though I know that there is humour inside of it even for me that was very very scary.”

Interestingly, Katrina will be playing a Ghost in Phone Bhoot, hence, she was further asked if she was scared on location. “No (not on) location. We didn’t have such locations. I am also a ghost in the film right? I am not going to be scared of myself. When I am coming to scare them like haha I am the ghost (everyone laughs). In our film there are a lot more comedians, I think. It’s primarily comedy whole lot of errors, an unintentional comedy in the way that I think the boys in the film don’t realise.”

Phone Bhoot is a horror comedy starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, and Jackie Shroff. Helmed by Gurmmeet Singh the horror flick is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film is bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banners of Excel Entertainment. Phone Bhoot will hit theatres on 4th November 2022.
