Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again slammed the Maharashtra Government over the arrest of Arnab Goswami. She shared a video on her Twitter handle and called it a ‘fascist government’. Kangana said that they made a mistake by arresting and torturing him. She says that it has only made Arnab the most loved journalist of all time. Kangana said, “The more they will torture Arnab, the more his popularity will increase and history will remember Arnab Goswami as a hero and Pappu Sena as fascist who attempted to destroy the fourth pillar of democracy.”
She captioned the video as, “Arnab ji is being tortured for exposing drug mafia and child trafficking business in Bullydawood and of course calling Sonia ji by her original name.”
Her video comes after Arnab Goswami stated, “My life is under threat, my life is under threat, I’m not being allowed to speak to my lawyers, I was pushed & assaulted this morning, they said they won’t allow me to speak to my lawyers, please tell the people of the country my life is under threat.”

Republic TV Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami was arrested last week in the death case of interior designer Anvay Naik, who allegedly died by suicide in Alibaug in May 2018. In his suicide note, the deceased had stated Arnab’s name for not paying his dues.
The case was closed in 2019 but was reopened after Naik’s wife Akshata approached a court. In September this year, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had ordered a re-investigation into the case after a fresh complaint by Naik’s daughter.
