Kangana Ranaut Reviews Sita Ramam, Calls Mrunal Thakur A True Queen

Kangana Ranaut was full of praises for Sita Ramam claiming it as epic love story

Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur starrer Sita Ramam has received much success, love, and adulation. The film has been lauded by fans, critics and stars as well. Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut finally watched Sita Ramam and reviewed the film. The actress praised the screenplay and direction of the film and gave a special shoutout to Mrunal Thakur. 

Kangana who is busy filming the upcoming political drama Emergency, took to her Instagram account to appreciate the masterpiece. She showered love on Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan starrer Sita Ramam. Kangana Ranaut shared two stories on Instagram to give her brief review on Sita Ramam.

She wrote: “Finally got time to see Sita Ramam… and I must say what a spectacular experience… and epic love story… extraordinary screenplay and direction… congratulations to Hanu Raghavapudi (director), all departments work wonderfully (in the film).”

She shared a separate different story just to praise Mrunal Thakur. After giving her thoughts on the period romance drama Ranaut hailed Mrunal for her acting. “All actors did amazingly well but what stood out the most for me (was) Mrunal Thakur’s performance. Restrained emotions and rare dignity in her demeanour… no other actress could have portrayed. What a terrific casting. Truly a queen. Zindabad Thakur saab (madam), here begins you reign… #sitaramam.”

Sita Ramam is a romantic drama, written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. It is a story of  Lieutenant Ram, played by Dulquer, an Indian army officer serving at the Kashmir border, who gets anonymous love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi, essayed by Mrunal. The period romance showcases the fact that humanity matters more than war, boundaries, and religion. 

Meanwhile, Kangana filming for her upcoming film Emergency. She is directing the film and also portraying the character of former prime minister Indira Gandhi. Film Emergency is based on the emergency crisis that took place in the year 1975 when Indira Gandhi was Prime Minister of India. This marks second directorial project of Kangana after Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi.
