Kangana Ranaut has taken a sarcastic jibe at Deepika Padukone in her recent tweet after her drug chats go viral in media.
Kangana ridiculed Deepika’s depression awareness campaign as she wrote, “Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse. So called high society rich star children who claim to be classy and have a good upbringing ask their manager,” MAAL HAI KYA?” #boycottBollywoodDruggies”
Well, her tweet is in reply to Deepika’s tweet that she made a day after Sushant’s death. Deepika wrote on June 15, “Repeat after me: depression is an illness.”
However, Kangana’s tweet has also invited some backlash as she says that depression is just a result of drug abuse. This has angered people who know that depression is a real problem.
Meanwhile, Deepika will be soon summoned by NCB. Her chats from Oct 28, 2017 went viral last night as she was seen asking for drugs from her manager Karishma Prakash. Names of other A-listers like Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet have also come up in the case.
