Kangana Ranaut Advocates For Compulsory Military Training For Everyone!

Kangana Rananut, who plays an Air Force officer in upcoming film "Tejas", feels that every citizen must undergo mandatory military training in our country.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut stirred up a debate during her recent appearance at News18 Amrit Ratna 2023, suggesting that military training should be made compulsory for every citizen after completing their graduation. The outspoken actress believes that this would eliminate what she terms as “lazy” and “irresponsible” individuals from the nation.

In her candid statement, Kangana emphasized that instilling discipline is vital for the country’s progress, and she envisions military training as the ideal solution. “We can rid ourselves of laziness and irresponsibility if military training becomes a post-graduation requirement,” she stated.

While discussing her thoughts, the “Chandramukhi 2″ star also took a jab at Bollywood celebrities and cricketers who maintain friendships with their counterparts in neighboring ‘enemy’ nations. Kangana questioned the motivations behind such camaraderie and expressed concerns raised by our soldiers. She pointed out, “Our soldiers ask when Bollywood is showcasing its love for artistes of China and Pakistan, cricketers are hugging them, then am I the only one who thinks of them as enemies? Is the animosity between the two countries only for me? This is why we have made Tejas. It showcases how a soldier feels when people of the country talk behind his back while he is fighting at the border.”

Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in Hindi film “Tejas,” a military drama. The film’s trailer was unveiled on the occasion of Indian Air Force Day, featuring Kangana in the role of Air Force pilot Tejas Gill. The trailer provides a glimpse into her character’s daring mission to rescue an Indian engineer-turned-spy held captive by terrorists in Pakistan, assigned to her by senior officers.

Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, “Tejas” is slated for a theatrical release on October 27, promising a gripping narrative that delves into the experiences of a soldier on the front lines.
