Almost ten years after she was found hanging at her home, a special CBI court in Mumbai will give its final verdict in connection with the death of Jiah Khan. The actress was found dead at her home in Mumbai on June 3, 2013. A few days later, the police found a letter written by Jiah that described her tumultuous relationship with Sooraj Pancholi, so the Mumbai police arrested her. A while ago today, Sooraj was captured by the paparazzi while going to court.
In the video, Suraj was seen going to the court wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. He did not interact with the media and left in his car. According to the reports, the final verdict will be announced around 10:30.
Recently, the actress and Sooraj’s mother, Zarina Wahab, spoke with Etimes ahead of the final verdict. She said that the whole family is positive about the case but anxious for the final verdict.
For the unversed, Mumbai Police had booked under Section 306 (physical abuse and mental and physical torture) in 2013. Her mother had alleged that the Pancholi family used to mistreat her daughter when she was alive.
