The Star Sports networks will air the event, and the JioCinema app will provide live streaming as well. At the IPL 2024 opening ceremony, actors Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonu Nigam, and AR Rahman are among the notable performers confirmed to participate. It has been confirmed that renowned Swedish DJ and record producer DJ Axwell will play during the mid-innings intermission. It is reported that in addition to their typical Bollywood hits, AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam will perform patriotic songs.
