Shah Rukh Khan an actor who needs no introduction an actor who had a story no less than a movie. The Bollywood superstar has today turned 57 today. From spending time on railway station to ruling the Bollywood industry, Shah Rukh is among those few stars of the industry who have emerged as a brand name for themselves. Despite many hardships, struggles, and failures Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh now stands on stardom that’s known worldwide.

Shah Rukh’s Childhood

However, the story behind his struggle is known only by a few of his hardcore fans. Shah Rukh who is now known by the name “King Khan” initially belonged to a middle-class family from Delhi. Before earning massive fame and stardom the actor was once a normal boy who lived in Delhi. He was born in a middle-class family where his father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan was an activist while his mother was a school teacher.

Beginning Of Shah Rukh’s Journey To Stardom

Ever since his childhood Shah Rukh always aspired to become an actor. One of his biggest inspirations remained the veteran Dilip Kumar. During his teen, the actor finally got enrolled into Delhi University at Hansraj College where he enrolled himself for an economics degree but spent most of his time in theatre. Shah Rukh later enrolled himself in a mass communication course in Jamia Milia however he later dropped out of the same to pursue his career in acting.

When Shah Rukh Met Gauri

The year 1981 and 1991 proved to become two of the hardest years in the actor’s life as he lost his father in 1981 to cancer and his mother in 1991. During the same Shah Rukh then met his now wife Gauri Khan who was then known by the name Gauri Chibber. The two tied the knot in the year 1991.

A Time Of Struggle For King Khan

After his marriage, Shah Rukh then moved to Mumbai to pursue his dream to rule the industry. During many interviews, the actor revealed that he landed in the city of dreams with just 1500rupees in his pocket. He even mentioned that he had to spend time sleeping at railway stations since he didn’t have much money to spend. However, his dream to rule the industry never faded away due to his struggles.

Shah Rukh’s Television Debut

Before ruling the big screens Shah Rukh had once also ruled the small screens. The actor was seen making his debut on television with his show Fauji which premiered in 1989. He later appeared in the 1989 show Circus and Idiot. He finally got his break in the Bollywood industry in 1992 with Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti starrer film “Deewana”. Soon after which the actor played several negative roles in films like Baazigar and others.

Beginning Of Lover Boy’s Era

And finally, in 1995 the actor was offered his first film as a “romantic lover”, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Soon after which Shah Rukh became known throughout the industry as Bollywood’s “Lover Boy”. Shah Rukh further appeared in films like “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, Devdas, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, and many others.

Today Shah Rukh remains one of the richest and most renowned actors of the Bollywood industry in the current generation. Many actors came and left but no one achieved success as high as his. Even after facing his worst time with films like “Zero” and “Fan”. The actor is back again to test his luck with his upcoming films Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki.
